On World Ostomy Day, staff came together in a powerful show of solidarity, compassion, and community spirit to raise awareness and funds for those living with an ostomy. World Ostomy Day, is a global initiative aimed at raising awareness about ostomies and the challenges faced by individuals who undergo life-changing surgeries to create a stoma. These procedures, often necessary due to conditions like Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, or cancer, can be physically and emotionally demanding. By participating in this awareness day, our staff helped break the stigma and promote understanding and empathy.
