Students have a choice of either a packed lunch or school dinner.

The cost of lunch is £3.00 per day. The school preferred policy is that meals should be paid for in advance for the half term. This prevents anyone falling into debit on their account. All payments can be made via the Arbor APP/Portal. So, If you were to book a meal for each day of a 6 week half term then the cost would be £90.” Should you face any issues with crediting you account with the full cost of the half term then please speak to the Finance Team who will be happy to help.

An administration charge of £2.00 will be made for each letter or telephone call the school has to generate to individual parents informing them of outstanding dinner money.

The cost of any meals not taken due to your child being absent from school will be retained on your account for future use (i.e. next half term).

Please note, school meals are ordered a half term in advance with a choice of a meat, vegetarian, jacket potato or a packed lunch option each day. Choices can vary day by day and all menus work on a 3 week cycle, i.e. Week 1 of the half term is the same as Week 4, and Week 2 is the same as Week 5 etc. When completed and submitted, your selection cannot be amended for that half term period.

We serve a range of high quality dishes, cooked fresh every day. For our children who may struggle with various textures or have conditions such as dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), we modify our meals to classified levels 4, 5 and 6, to ensure that they enjoy our range of flavoursome and tasty meals, developed specifically for them, as well as all our children’s growing needs. Our wonderful catering partners Connect Catering, prepare and cook food to the highest safety standards with a wide selection of choices. Each dish complies with IDDSI guidelines for texture, launched in April 2019, ensuring we prepare each meal safely and with peace of mind.
